Last year around this time, we decided to be in Hong Kong for a month to spend time with my family and catch a break from the long NYC winter. As part of that trip, we went to Taipei to be a part of a GQ-organized event, the GQ Taiwan Suit Walk (台北國際紳仕週).
The GQ Taiwan Suit Walk is an event that happens every year and attracts a global group of people with a similar interested: you guessed it, people who love suits. As part of that niche group, we were really excited to check it out. I'm happy to say it lived up to its hype!
In the week leading up to the actual suit walk, GQ Taiwan hosts forums and classes on the topic of suiting. In partnership with GQ, I hosted a class on all the different ways to suit suits -- from formal, to business professional, to casual.
The end of the week culminated in the suit walk where hundreds of people gathered wearing their best suits and paraded through the streets of Taipei. Definitely a week to remember!
