How To Wear a Suit on Vacation | Venice, Italy

  

Packing a suit for my trips is a no-brainer, especially for Italy! It's one of our favorite countries to visit and they have impeccable style. Here are my tips on wearing a suit leisurely while traveling:

• Switch from dress shoes to sleek, casual sneakers. I always seem to gravitate to wearing my Common Project sneakers because they are very sharp, don't have heavy branding logos, and don't take away from the suit at all. You don't want to walk around all day exploring a new city in dress shoes.
• Ditch the tie. You don't want your look to come off corporate. 
• Wear a casual shirt, not a formal button up. For extra style points, leave a few of your top buttons undone.
• Complement your surroundings. I chose to wear a denim button up underneath to complement all the blue water at every turn in Venice. 
• Throw on a statement scarf. Transition to winter by pairing your look with a thin scarf for a bit of extra warmth
