How To: Embroidered Souvenir Jacket Day to Night | Tokyo, Japan

 

I've always wanted a souvenir jacket but wanted to wait for the trend to die down a little bit. I also specifically wanted to buy one from Japan. Because of the jacket's history and design, it is the perfect travel style piece to go from day to night, especially in a city like Tokyo.

I wanted to show you guys two different ways to style an embroidered souvenir jacket, like this one. For an edgier daytime look, I styled this jacket with a plain t-shirt, white sneakers, and red stripe pants for a pop. To switch up this outfit for a more casual nighttime look I swapped my pants for black jeans and edgier sneakers. We were so happy to catch a bit of early Cherry Blossoms at Shinjuku Garden.
