Throwback Travel Thursday Series: SPAIN - Madrid Part III! On our last day in Madrid, we had a grand tour of the beautiful Royal Palace of Madrid. It is definitely one of the top attractions you must check out in Madrid. The palace is beautiful both inside and out. Just walking around there made me feel like a King. Then on our way back from lunch, we found one of the coolest streets near our stay. This street was full of colorful buildings down the curvy winding road - isn't that what a big part of Europe is all about? Finding that picture perfect charming street? Needless to say, we took advantage and had a fun photo shoot. Sometimes we like to be one of those matchy-matchy couples, and sometimes you'll catch us completely different in our own distinct styles. I am in a sharp casual menswear look with DB Blazer, jeans, and loafers. Alicia is rocking that hipster NYC look with classic flannel shirt, ripped jeans, and leather jacket.

Style Tips:

* Dress down the Blazer - casual comfortable to rock a blazer around town for a day of exploring is to pair it with a nice t-shirt and some jeans

* Don't forget the feet - This is always a tricky part to nail down for travelers: they either go with the comfy but ugly white trainers or sharp but uncomfortable dress shoes. The key is to find that perfect balance of style and comfort. These loafers with the rubber sole did the trick.

* Travel in Layers - Alicia is rocking that classic black & red flannel shirt with a leather jacket and shirt underneath. When the weather got hotter in the afternoon, simply take off one layer like the shirt and tie around the waist. On the other hand, I have a light scarf depending on what the weather brings.
