For the Fall Season, I've teamed up with Macy's to feature a Bar III Suit for the #WearToWork series. It's going to be a three-part series to show you various ways to wear a suit to work. The series will give examples of how a suit can be one of the most versatile items in your 9-5 work wardrobe. I decided to take on this series by going outside the box from your everyday navy & grey suits with a challenge - the Bar III Olive Multi-check Three-Piece suit. This suit has caught my attention because 1) Fall season ready, 2) Patterns with navy & brown, and 3) my love for three-piece suits!
First up in the #WearToWork series, I am going all business with the full three-piece suit. Rocking the full suit is perfect for the important business meetings or quite simply in the business world: when you want to make an impression. It might seem intimidating at first but easy once I break it down. I paired the suit with colors in the pattern: Navy & Brown. Top: I went with a classic white shirt and a nice navy dot tie. The tie works well with the suit for some subtle pattern mixing. Bottom: I finished off the look with a pair of tan monk strap shoes that goes well with the color scheme yet stands out. The monk strap shoes has a great silhouette that's sharp and stylish.
The suit calls for respect and attention (in a good way). It shows that you are serious about the occasion or event in how you've prepared yourself both physically and mentally. This is why I love suits because it automatically raises my confidence in whatever I do and shows that I believe in myself. It's about separating yourself from the crowd and #SettingTheBar.
Stay Tuned for Part II in the Bar III #WearToWork Series!
